About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Houston. I received my undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad de Antioquia and my master’s degree in Economics from Universidad EAFIT.

My research interests are in urban economics, transportation economics, public economics, environmental economics, and applied microeconomics. My work studies how transportation systems, spatial frictions, and public policy shape economic outcomes across cities and regions.

My job market paper, Remote Work and Optimal Congestion Pricing: Evidence from the COVID-19 Demand Shock, uses the COVID-19 shock to commuting demand in California to study changes in congestion costs and the optimal design of road pricing policies.

I will be on the 2026–2027 economics job market.
